3 March 2025 - As a heavy-lift operator, we offer a regular semi-liner service connecting East Asia with the West Coast of North America. We call at base ports of Qingdao, Taicang, Vancouver (Canada), Vancouver (USA), Everett and also ports subject to inducement such as Busan, Kobe, Nagoya, Kaohsiung, and Stewart.
27 February 2025 - In February, the Swire Projects team attended the seventh edition of Breakbulk Middle East at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, UAE. It was a valuable opportunity for our team to connect with various companies in this dynamic region.
18 February 2025 - Swire Projects has successfully delivered a full load of dredging equipment, approximately 20,000 cbm, from Payra, Bangladesh to Jebel Ali, UAE. This shipment included a 225t pontoon, the heaviest unit, which was loaded at anchorage onto our multipurpose heavy lift I-Type vessel, Pacific Integrity.
22 January 2025 - Swire Projects is excited to start the year with a recent success story involving the transportation of five mining dump trucks. These trucks, each weighing 112 tons and totalling approximately 2,915 cubic meters, were mobilised out of Batam, Indonesia, and successfully delivered to our client's distribution yard in Henderson, Western Australia.
26 November 2024 – Swire Projects recently shipped four complete windmill sets, totaling 34,000 cbm, from Dafeng, China, to Vung An, Vietnam, for the Hai Anh 40MW Wind Power Project. This delivery marks another important step in supporting Vietnam’s renewable energy initiatives and showcases our commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions across Southeast Asia.
20 September 2024 – Swire Projects has achieved another successful shipment of wind turbine components for one of the world’s leading wind energy companies. The cargo consists of 12 sets of wind towers and 12 sets of nacelles, hubs, and drive trains.
5 September 2024 – Swire Projects recently shipped four heavy units of barges from Vietnam to Australia and New Zealand for a shipbuilding and marine services client. The shipment included two units of feeding barges, one 25 meters long weighing 222 tons, and another 34 meters long weighing 250 tons; as well as two units of 28 meters long dumb barges weighing approximately 80 to 107 tons each.
12 July 2024, Singapore – Swire Projects, the projects and heavy lift shipping services division of Swire Shipping, has successfully completed a shipment of the YC Bora, a 53-meter fast support and intervention vessel, highlighting its expertise in floating cargo transportation. The shipment was conducted in partnership with Peters & May, a global yacht transportation and logistics solutions provider.
18 January 2024, Singapore – Swire Projects, a projects and heavy lift shipping services division of Swire Shipping, is pleased to introduce the Western Australia Express (WAX) service, a monthly semi liner shipping service connecting major ports in China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, the rest of Southeast Asia, and Western Australia.
27 November 2023, Singapore – Swire Projects, the projects and heavy lift shipping arm of Swire Shipping, has officially launched a dedicated semi liner service connecting East Asia with the West Coast of North America. Previously offered on an ad hoc basis, the service will provide enhanced cargo connectivity and support the growing demand for reliable breakbulk and project cargo transportation into the West Coast and a gateway to the interior of the Continent avoiding the need to route cargo via the Panama Canal.

10 July 2023, Singapore – Swire Projects, the projects and heavy lift shipping services division of Swire Shipping, has successfully delivered a complete set of wind turbines from China to Bluff, New Zealand, for one of the world’s leading wind energy companies, Vestas.
14 April 2023, Singapore – Swire Projects, the projects and heavy lift shipping services division of Swire Shipping, has attained the ABS Quality Evaluations certifications for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health Safety Management on 14 March 2023. The achievement is a testament to its long-term business commitment to provide the highest level of service to its customers, and a reflection of the Company’s sustainability aspirations.
10 March 2023, Singapore – Swire Projects, a projects and heavy lift shipping services division of Swire Shipping, completed the inaugural voyage of its first of three chartered H-Class vessels, Pacific Hero. The versatile 28,500 deadweight multipurpose vessel has a lifting capacity of up to 150 mts and is capable of moving a wide range of project cargo.
20 February 2023, Singapore – Swire Projects, a projects and heavy lift shipping services division of Swire Shipping, completed its first voyage to Western Australia carrying 88 Ore Cars (wagons) for one of the world-leading resources companies, BHP.
11 July 2022, Singapore – Swire Projects (the Projects business unit of Swire Shipping Pte. Ltd.) has entered into a long-term agreement with shipowner R. Braren for the charter of three handysize multipurpose (MPP) vessels. These vessels will service customer requirements in “bluewater” trades, carrying project, breakbulk and unitised cargoes.
23 June 2022, Singapore – Swire Shipping, a leading operator of liner shipping services in the Asia-Pacific and around the globe, today announced that it has teamed up with UWL to offer a dedicated feeder service from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to its recently-announced service between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Seattle on the US West Coast. At 25 days, the service is also the market’s fastest, and is expected to be popular with customers with a need for speed.
